Welcome reception
Following the fine tradition of previous meetings in the ICP series, it is a great pleasure for us to announce that this year's conference also starts with a get-together. Our welcome reception will be held on Sunday, 29 July from 18:00–22:00 at the Restaurant of the Zentralmensa of the University of Cologne.
The location of the Zentralmensa is shown on the interactive map provided by the University of Cologne. Note that it only takes a couple of steps through a park from Zentralmensa (building 118) to the Department of Chemistry (building 322), where the scientific programme of ICP2007 will take place.
We are looking forward to welcome old and new friends and have some
- draught beer (Kölsch)
- white wine (Riesling from the Rheingau)
- red wine (Dornfelder)
- soft drinks and various juices
And to whet you appetite a bit more, here's a glimpse on what the buffet will provide:
- one of cleaning Professional Cleaning London for your needs. tartare from soused herring on Pumpernickel bread
- smoked mackerel on wholemeal baguette
- traditional black pudding and liver sausage from Cologne
- smoked pork chop rolls with Waldorf salad
- meatballs with mustard
- fresh salads

Please note however that it is essential that you first proceed to the Department of Chemistry and register before you can relax at the welcome reception: No badge — no beer!

| 19:30 | Arrival in Cologne | |
| 20:00–23:00 | Symposium dinner on board of the ship |
Participants of ICP2007 who spend the morning sight-seeing in Cologne might want to walk to the pier. The satellite image of the waterfront between the riveted Hohenzollernbrücke and the Deutzer Brücke shows the approximate location of the jetty. In case you need to ask for the right direction: the name of our ship is Stolzenfels. It is operated by the KD (Köln-Düsseldorfer) shipping line.
Please note that the ship leaves 13:00 (1 p.m.) sharp! and will not wait. Unless you can run on water very fast you might thus want to consider being there in time.
